Mercats de Barcelona will be present at Barcelona Degusta in
the shape of two enticing Aulas del Gusto. El
bacallà, ahir, avui i sempre (Salt-cod: Yesterday,
today and always) will take a look at the history of this delectable
fish and its many gastronomic uses, ranging from the most classic
recipes to the most innovative. This workshop will examine how
codfish has evolved from being considered poor mans
food to its current status as a prized ingredient the world
over.
